Myah Maedell Singh is the founder of Theatre De La Rue, a dynamic theater company dedicated to enriching communities through the arts. As an actor, director, educator, and textile artist, Myah has had an illustrious career, performing with companies such as Shakespeare’s Globe in London and the St. Louis Black Repertory Company. She has studied under esteemed mentors, including Dr. Nikki Giovanni, and has worked with renowned figures like George Clooney.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Myah is deeply committed to giving back through her work with youth. She has taught theater to inner-city students and founded Theatre De La Rue to provide performance and workshops in underserved communities.

Her greatest aspiration is to inspire the next generation of artists, nurturing their skills and helping them develop confidence and creativity.
